Just received voting package for Board Members 2016.
Been aWhile since I have posted ,MY OPINON ONLY

In the list of canidates I see Valeria Sowell is running.
Valeria bought the house next to mine so I know a little about her.
When she move in seven years ago the community was really looking for change,
and we all know that change did not come easy.
I recall many town meeting that Valeria attented and spoke up for the needs and
issues of SLCA. I remember watching board members slump down in there seats and
reach for the asprin [some reached for something stronger] when Valeria would raise her hand
to speak. The board member would mumble and stumble over her questions, you knew they
were all praying she would miss the next meeting when the meeting was ajourned.
Valeria was always at the next meeting still seeking answer too her questions. She had the
same effects and results at SLCA meeting. My point is that she made every effort every time
and that not easy when dealing with ignorance.Persistance is a good asset.
The SLCA community needs board members who wont cave on issues or use the position too
benefit for themself, a board member should be able too discuss and even disagree to reach solutions,
never waste time or money, make time to listen too peoples concerns after all its their money being spent.
Above all a board member must realize its not about them and there title,or special little group
its about all who live in the community. The job is to make the whole community a  better place
to live, work and play. So I am not telling anyone who too vote for, please just VOTE it matters.

I will vote for Valeria

I am happy to announce that the lawsuit my son had against SLCA for defective road conditions on Hawthorne Terrace in 2011 has settled. I want to thank my attorney Paul Oven from DLP law office in Moosic, Pa for his professionalism and persistence in telling SLCA that they were liable for my sons growth plate fracture that he sustained while riding his bicycle up and down Hawthorne Terrace and he fell off his bike while riding his bike and hitting a leaf covered crater that caused his traumatic injury.

Let it be known that a president has been set. If your kid is injured because of the horrible road conditions in SLCA and it is well documented that the roads were in disrepair and reported to management numerous times. You too can sue SLCA and recover a significant amount of money for your kid as compensation for injuries sustained while using SLCA roads that you pay yearly maintenance for.

I was told that you can't sue the association. News flash! Yes you can and you can win! My son did! Protect yourselves and your children from injury at all costs, but when your child is hurt because of no fault of their own because of crater filled neglected roads, your only option is to get compensation for your child's injury and medical expenses.

I no longer live in SLCA, Thank God. But I pray for all of y'all that continue the struggle against the Board and the Management corporation.

Best wishes,
Puchichis

Some questions to ask the board:

1.  What did the board and their lawyers do to cause a malicious prosecution and abuse of process lawsuit?
If they are telling you the truth (ITRTUTT) - they are being sued for wrongly  using the legal system to harass residents.

2.  How much have legal fees cost SLCA?
ITRTUTT - hundreds of thousands of dollars and counting, WAY, WAY MORE than they spent on the roads and sewer combined during the same time frame.  Crazy isn’t it?

3.  Speaking of crazy, how could Ron Kluge, running again for the board, say “we were able to repair and resurface many roads in the community by budgeting money received in dues and using our reserves without a dues increase” knowing full well that the dues and sewer fees have steadily risen?
ITRTUTT – Ron Kluge has lied to the courts and judges, and clearly doesn’t have a problem lying to you and putting them in black and white.  Just look at your bills that have increased year after year.  Also, reserves are to be kept as reserves, not for general maintenance.  Just another example of the board not following rules.

4.  The President, Lou Killian, keeps saying the road work last year  “didn’t cost us a thing.”  Who is paying for it then?
ITRTUTT – you are.   The board just added more debt.

5.  Why suggest 2 changes to the bylaws but only let us vote on 1?
ITRTUTT – The only person term limits would affect right now is Ron Kluge.  It is highly irresponsible for the board to present one change and not the other.  Except for those who have a lot to hide.

6.  Why are you keeping such an inept management company, Jim Ott and Appletree Management company?
Who knows what they are providing, except maybe a willing accomplice in some directors’ lies and schemes (possibly NEPA Management and Tom Wilkins’ too).  Jim Ott, like Ron Kluge, is also a well documented liar.  (Birds of a feather…)  Well run communities have property managers work for them, the community, not a company trying to make money from them (a clear conflict of interest).

PLEASE attend the annual meeting this Saturday and vote for change.  Otherwise this community will continue its downward spiral, just as our roads, sewer, pool, ...

Note: the above questions and answers are just my opinion, formed after being on the board for several years and seeing the "inner workings" firsthand, as well as reading all of the court filings and financial documents over the years.

Rumor has it that the FBI is going to investigate the Association for Bank and Wire Fraud.  I believe that will only open the door to a criminal investigation that would show Fraud, Personal Enrichment, Theft by Deception, Kickbacks and Criminal Conspiracy.

Lets hope the FBI does their job.

Imagine if the State were to audit the finances of SLCA.

Happy New Year to all those that deserve it, and to the others here's hoping everyone gets exactly what they deserve! Since there was no email notice of the board meeting last weekend, does anyone know if anything of interest happened?  Things should get lively with all the talk of assessing for road costs when they have been assessing for road costs and not doing the roads for who knows how many years.  This of course does not count the roadwork that was done on unauthorized, unapproved, illegal (as per the UPCA) borrowed funds, like the Citizen Banks unauthorized Open-ended Mortgage (http://www.stillwaterlakes.net/Legal/Mortgage.pdf) SLCA acquired in 2007.

Just how does the association put a lien on your property without you knowing it?
It's a tactic they learned from the Montana Freemen!.............http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montana_freemen
