Taking Back our Community!...

Just found a copy of December 2010 township board meeting notes and noticed this:

Letter of Support to DCED - LSA Grant - Stillwater Lakes Civic Association
Mr. OBoyle summarized the letter supporting Pocono Mountains Industrial Development Authority’s LSA Application for the purpose of assisting Stillwater Lake Civic Association with needed repairs to their Sewage Collection System that will prevent contamination of environmental health hazards.

Mr. Hutchins moved to send the letter of support to be submitted with the LSA Application. Seconded by Ms. Kelly. Discussion followed about changing the word “prevent” to “stop or alleviate”. It was the consensus of the Supervisors not to change the letter. The motion carried 5-0.

With this type of PMIDA involvement, would it suggest that Sewer system has already been sold to them, or soon to be sold?

What would that mean to the current sewer customer? (Bad enough board is considering raising yearly to as much as $2000)

Would a new owner (Pending the board sells it legally) raise sewer fees even more?

What about all you Septic Tank owners? ...How soon do you think it will be when a sewer pipe comes your way. (According to the deeds in this community, if there's a line to connect to--You are obligated to connect TO it!)
So when the story finally comes down the pipe (so to speak) that they will save us "Current" sewer customers some money, guess which "Septic Tank" owners will be sharing the bill?  Oh WAIT!!! You all already share the bill.

We call it "Co-mingling"...they call it, "Balance Forward".
